BENTLEY CURTIS

For nearly two decades Bentley Curtis has worked throughout numerous

facets of the fashion industry ranging from celebrity and personal styling,

public relations, editorial writing, and red carpet hosting. Her love of

style, beauty and empowering others has birthed Bentley Curtis Inc., a

global consulting firm that approaches wellness from a 360° lens.

Focusing on what she calls the 5 Pillars of Balance—mental, emotional,

spiritual, physical, and occupational—she assists clients in achieving

holistic wellness and unlocking a more confident, heightened version of

themselves. This objective is brought to fruition through a thoughtful and

intentional curation of best practices meant to best serve and suit each

of her client’s unique needs. Through a synthesis of self-introspection,

personal branding, styling, beauty, grooming and professional

organization techniques, clients become recalibrated, centered and

more internally grounded, awakening a deepened connectivity to their

inner compass and greater clarity of mind, vision and purpose.

To highlight Bentley’s previous professional experience, she worked for

Associated Press Entertainment in London, U.K. covering fashion shows

at London Collections Men (LCM) for designers Alexander McQueen,

Burberry and Richard James, among others. She also conducted

red carpet interviews for international movie premieres, along with

producing video content distributed globally.

Additionally, she worked as a contributing writer for Angeleno—one of L.A.’s largest luxury lifestyle publications—as a red carpet and event reporter for their Society and Culture section, On The Scene. Prior to her role as a contributor, she worked as an editorial assistant, where she did in-house copy editing for the three publications housed under Modern Luxury’s L.A. office—Interiors California, Brides California and Angeleno—along with brand collaborations, event marketing and digital content creation. Bentley currently writes for her blog Poised + Polished, and is in the process of authoring her debut book.

Furthermore, she worked as a freelance showbiz reporter for the DailyMail U.K.covering style and pop culture related topics. Aside from her editorial work she’s been a host and presenter for fashion shows, red carpets, galas, podcasts, panel moderations, among other live event formats.

​Bentley’s academic accolades include achieving her Master’s in Journalism, and Bachelor’s in Business Administration both from the University of Southern California, where she also received a Global Fellowship and was later inducted into Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society. In the interim, she completed an MBA Fellowship at the Riordan Programs through the University of California, Los Angeles as well as a certification program in Personal Styling at the School of Style. In 2019, she completed with Multicultural Women Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship Program at her alma mater, where she received certificates of recognition from the Senate and California State Legislature.

As a proud Latina and first-generation college student, she finds joy in giving back to underserved minority communities, along with participating in philanthropic endeavors through her church and sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.

In her downtime she loves hiking, cooking, spending time with her dog Hudson, traveling, and has an affinity for all things London.
